| HAPPY, VERY EARLY, anniversary to us! HOLLYWOOD STYLE! 6 years 12-2-06 |
Jared and I usually take a trip at the beginning of December to celebrate our anniversary. Vegas is usually the place of celebration, BUT THIS YEAR he had something else in mind....CALIFORNIA! Neither of us had ever been to Cali and we just so happened to have a great excuse to make the trip. The OREGON DUCKS were going to play USC, and if you didn't know, Jared has adopted the Ducks as a stepchild team. Now, please do not get me wrong, the Texas Longhorns are whom our hearts truly beat for. This season our Texas longhorn football team maaaaaay not be the cream of the crop, so at least we have an alternate team to cheer for... QUACK! QUACK!
California was AWESOME! It was hard to leave Braylin behind, but Jared and I, for once in a long time, had only each other to entertain for 3 days! It was nice. We saw what Hollywood was all about, ran into several FAMOUS faces, attended the Breeder's cup (which is the superbowl of horse racing), and of course saw the DUCKS dominate the Trojans! We were there for a short amount of time, but we packed in as many activities as possible!

The first night we were there, we decided to checkout the comedy club that was next to our hotel. We knew something a little strange was going on because of the people standing outside with headphones and walkie-talkies and such. We walked in, didn't pay a dime, sat down, and immediately realized we must be sitting in some kind of recorded comedy show. There were cameras, people dressed in their night-club best, and right next to us, within feet away, was Nelly, a music artist, and Nick Cannon, the guy who hosts X Factor)! We quickly learned that we were sitting in a recorded TV show, called The Real Husbands of Hollywood! Kevin Hart (a comedian) has the show as a spoof of all of the current housewife shows. Robin Thicke, a pianist/singer, is also on the show and played some awesome music for us (us as in the actors) and sat right in front of us during the show recording. Soooo long story short... there is a STRONG chance that you can catch Jared and I sitting-in on this show as we were right in the line of video fire! We aren't sure how it ended or even what the plot may be, because after 3 hours of recording, and take after take, we snuck out! We decided we could NEVER be real actors. So "Your welcome" to the producers for having two very good lookin, white, people from Texas on their cast for a day! ha ha ha!

| Of course I had to find the DASH store. No sightings of the Kardashian sisters nor did I even get to go in. Stores on Melrose don't open until 11:00 and we had THINGS to do and people to see! |

You are an amazing Daddy (and the favorite parent it seems). I cherish those snapshot moments when you and Braylin do your thing. TIMELESS. She loves her Daddy to the moon and beyond... her eyes prove it.
Our little family is so very blessed on this journey we have walked. 6 years of marriage (on Dec 6th) and many many more to celebrate this plan that God so carefully put together.
