We are thankful that Braylin's pediatrician put 2 and 2 together and sent her to get an MRI to find that she does indeed have a tethered cord. She has had painful bowls, and pain in her little legs, plus a few other "yellow flag symptoms". Her neurologist says she is a great candidate for the corrective surgery. He is hopeful that she will recover quickly and be ready to play soon. We pray that with this surgery, she will be like a brand new little girl. Bray will have surgery this week, Thursday, January 16th to correct the tethered cord. They said it will be about a 2 hour surgery and a couple days in the hospital. This momma is a nervous wreck and I'm growing more nervous as we get closer (away from momma for 2 hours?? God help me.).
Please pray for Braylin and that her surgery is safe, quick, and successful. Pray that her recovery is easy and that she bounces back in no time.
Please also pray for Momma and Daddy. We know this is the right thing to do, but we can't help but to be nervous. She IS our little girl.
