NEW YORK CITY!

New York was amazing.

It was busy. .. shoulder to shoulder people.

Traffic was horrible.

It was cold.

BUT DURING CHRISTMAS THE PLACE IS STILL

ENCHANTING!

We loved every day of it.

We stayed right on TIME SQUARE!
It was an awesome site, to see the least

at the 911 memorial, while waiting on Daddy to get us tickets
to the 911 museum.

the waterfall pools at the memorial were serene and so meaningful.
Every person with a beating heart needs to experience the memorial at least once.

we ate one of the BEST chocolate cookies you could ever imagine
at Levain Bakery. 6 OZ  of pure heaven!!!

 We woke up ready for our NY adventure! Levain Bakery would be the FIRST stop ON our list. We caught a cab to the upper west side in New York (near central park) so that we could try the world famous, 6oz cookie!  To our suprise it was a very, VERY tiny spot on the street. The sign was so tiny -- we almost missed it. We all became especially hesitant as walked down the stairs into the tiniest bakery we'd ever seen... until we were IN. It smelled like heaven, and if callories weren't an issue, it would be difficult to not try everything on the menu. We ordered, grabbed our coffee, and had to hike to Central Park (the nearest place to sit) so that we could enjoy our treats. THE COOKIES were worth every extra effort. AMAZING.
