ODE TO SUMMER 2015

It was busy. 

No long trips... just a lot of activity.

There was a LOT of swimming and vitamin c intake.

There were family gatherings.

There were many friends.

There were MULTIPLE activities.

There was laughter.

There were blessings.

It was an awesome summer filled to the rim with fun.

It may have even been the fastest summer in the books.

Memories were made and our hearts are full. 

ODE TO SUMMER 2015

Bray and I had lots of morning swim dates. We listened to the oldie station and did some groovy dance routines in the pool.
We played a little golf.
We had friends over to play.
We even visited Fossil Rim again! (That place never gets old!)

Its rare to find Jalee, Joe Jerren, and I all together these days with all of our kids. But we made it happen this summer.  It was too much fun getting the kids together and watching them enjoy the other's company.
This is love. And this is what its all about. 

4th of July was epic this year! The whole weekend was full of entertainment.
Long live the RED, WHITE, AND BLUE. 

More swimming, birthdays, a few visits to see Nanny.
And there were a few "down" times. Braylin got a little virus and had to see the doctor. But notice her face lights up when she gets to accompany Fibi to the vet. Yes, Fibi had to see the vet a few times this summer due to allergies. But we are all intact and made it through.

And Braylin got to play a little soccer this summer! She was so cute and actually caught on.
Braylin saw the dentist for the 2nd time, and had her teeth cleaned.  They are happy with her pretty smile!

more friend dates. Our friends are held very close to our hearts. Relaxing in the pool. And one time Sug and Momma even played in a golf tournament together! Good times!

Our little family is blessed in so many ways. We give all praise to Jesus.

Next April we should have completed our vacation home in Horseshoe Bay. Putting this house together has been a blast for me and we look forward to making even more memories under that roof soon.
