Dancing in the Rain: Memorial Day Weekend

A CRAM PACKED weekend with my hubby-love, Bray-Bray, besty-sister and my most munchkin-nephew, Aust. We did it all: road tripped to/from Decatur, watched Dad rope, went to Dallas World Aquarium, dinner on the town, a quick grocery store stop, and even a visit to Nanny's house. WHEW! We had a blast and the babies did so well for such a fast weekend.

ADVENTURE BEGINS: Jared drove the wagon, Jalee was the front passenger, babies in the middle, and me.... VERY BACK OF THE BUS. Baby strollers and self. Which I can't complain too much because it was pretty quiet back there! It was a great opportunity for Jalee and Jared to visit each other too. Jalee has practically grown up with Jared and it's been a while since they had some bonding time. Braylin and Austin watched their cartoons and just slept. Check! DFW BOUND!

FIRST STOP, DALLAS WORLD AQUARIUM: Braylin did an AWESOME job. I think she simply enjoys being OUT of the house. She was so funny at the aquarium as she smiled, laughed, and squealed at the trees and the big waterfall. She enjoyed seeing all of the new colors and textures. She'd never seen that many people in one spot before! She was a happy and LOUD baby, in fact Jared was a little embarrassed by Braylin's great quality to entertain others with her outgoing personality. ha! ha!

Austin, on the otherhand, cared more about his momma's camera and the awesome broom that the janitor used to clean up a spill! ha ha ha ha!!! Maybe the aquarium wasn't age appropriate, but it sure was fun hanging out with my husband and sister.

NEXT STOP.... FORT WORTH DINNER WITH PAPA JOE : actually this is AFTER dinner. Things were a little too busy to take pictures at dinner. Although the food was amazing, the kiddos were about to lose their cool and were TIRED of sitting still. Delirium quickly sat in. Outside pics had to suffice.

SUNDAY TRIP TO GREAT-GRANDMA NANNY'S: Jalee and Austin had to stop in and say hello to Nanny while they were here. The kids were tired but the trip was worth it! Nothing compares to some good ole Nanny treatment.
