Tis the Season...

TO BE THANKFUL!

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,

for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 107

Our family is so blessed and we remember to thank our Lord everyday. It is so easy to take things in our everyday lives for granted. This family has learned, especially in the last 3 years, that nothing should be taken for granted. There are no promises for tomorrow. We don't get what we think we want. We get what He wants for us. We are thankful that God has taken us by the hand. He is in control and we are thankful.

We have so many reasons to be thankful, but the obvious, the BIG one, the baby that was prayed for around the world, the living miracle that proves how powerful prayer really is....
BRAYLIN.  First we were thankful she was here, then we were thankful when she could breath well without a cpap, soon we were thankful that she could take a bottle by nipple, and I'll never forget the first time I was able to bathe her. Maybe those are things taken for granted by millions of mommas and daddies, but NONE of Braylin's accomplishments, even the smallest, go unrecognized and never will. We are thankful to have her. Praise the Lord for this beautiful little girl and all she has conquered.

Thank you Lord.

This was Braylin's first Thanksgiving, outside of NICU, and she loved her some sweet potatoes and dressing! This year we road tripped to West Texas to visit both sides of Jared's family. Braylin finally met some very loved people that haven't seen her smiling face yet. It was a great visit and great fun for Braylin to explore new territory. A few captured memories below.
